NorDig releases updated NorDig TVA Implementation Guidelines including how to handle alternative id like ISAN and EIDR, and recommendation about using TVA for audience measurement.
Update of NorDig TVA implementation Guidelines v. 1.3.2 (March 2021)
Update of the Guidelines for implementation of NorDig TV-Anytime (TVA) metadata exchange format, includes how to use alternative id / tva:OtherIdentifier type for having more ids for one program like ISAN and EIDR to enrich metadata for the program. The updated implementation package also includes recommendations about of how broadcaster can deliver online metadata to Kantar/Gallup audience measurement system using the NorDig TVA standard.
The document is meant for broadcasters, other content providers and distributors to facilitate planning and implementation of NorDig common EPG/Event metadata exchange format (based on the TV-Anytime standard) in their production chain, metadata delivering systems and distribution networks.
NorDig TVA implementation Guidelines is package contains technical guidelines for implementation of NorDig TVA, metadata XML files, NorDig Termslist, NorDig DeviseType, DeviceOS and RightsType lists, NorDig TVA example scenarios and NorDig TVA metadata XML example files.
